As proof that the winters in Tokyo are mild there are palm trees outside the windows of our hotel!

The Japanese do love their shrubbery.

品川駅の中にあります。

Newly planted (large) trees.

Had no idea we were going to see this today, but it was on the way to another destination so we couldn't pass it up.

Next time I'm in Japan I shall be going here.

東京スカイツリーはすごいですね。
The Sky Tree really is amazing!

 観葉植物!
look it up yourself, I'm tired of these translations.

The temple grounds had the most ridiculously ancient looking Ginkgo trees I have ever seen. I would not be surprised if this one was over 1,000 years old.

つつじはきれいです。

滝は大好きです。
I love waterfalls.

Where we ate in 秋葉原。

What I ordered.

One of the two most famous manga/anime goods stores in the world! Its not very wide but its 8 floors high.

Basement level full of trading cards.

Yuruyuri, one of my favorite anime.

Something new!

No store in Indiana can touch this kind of variety. Whole rooms looked like this!

No store in Indiana stocks this kind of stuff, it has to be ordered online.

Promotional poster for the K-On! movie coming out on Blu-ray. I pre-ordered mine today. only $100!

One of the most famous stations on earth.

The blue banner in the middle is for the new series from Kyoto Animation called Hyoka.
It has already become rather popular after only 4 episodes.

promotional poster for the second season of Oreimo. another favorite of mine.

The blue building with the anime billboard on top is Gamers, the other world famous manga/anime goods store.

Anime banners the size of houses!
