I don't knw what these were but they smelled wonderful.

And here we have Ginkakuji; the silver pavilion. 


These tree branches are so wonderful!

Kyoto Station is ridiculously huge. 


One of the most important buildings in the entire country. This is the corporate headquarters of Kyoto Animation, widely regarded as the best animation (for television) studio in Japan. 

Tis a very famous sign. 

A few blocks away is this; the Kyoto Animation Shop where merchandise can be purchased that relates to all the studio's past and present works. (I got a t-shirt) Located on the floor above this store are the actual animation design studios of the company but of course I was not allowed to get near there.
